Description

Urban Cathedral for Sheryl

Once more I had the chance to photograph the wonderful ~cytanin with one of her impressive cosplay costumes. This time she cosplays Sheryl Nome in her wedding gown.
For the first time we did the shooting at night time at the Norway ferry terminal in Kiel / Schleswig-Holstein / Germany with portable light equipment (system strobes). I am very satisfied with the outcome. More images will follow soon...

Wow, what an incredible photo. Beautiful Sheryl Nome wedding Gown Cosplay.

Note: The photographer and Cosplayer in this photo does not want this photo to be copied or distributed in any way. Please respect this request. I'm honored to do this Critique.

Background - Norway ferry terminal in Kiel / Schleswig-Holstein / Germany. Great use of the lighting equipment that you have. Being a photographer I'm jealous (Btw big complement). The shadow effect works out nicely. The location looks dark and dreary. Somehow I don't feel that it's appropriate place for a bride who appears to be waiting for someone.

Cosplayer - I Love Sheryl's pose and facial expression. She looks like a concerned lady in waiting. Where is her Groom? The wedding gown is Gorgeous!! I Love how it's arranged on the Bed or waiting area. It's hard to tell which. A sign of some kind would be helpful. Sheryl's gown is very colorful and definately catches the eye. Other than the shoe's it's "right on". The shoes are very nice but don't seem to work for this wedding dress. Perhaps a "Cinderella" type short heel shoe would be more elegant and befitting of a Bride / Princess outfit.

Overall - I really Love this picture. Credit definately goes to both the Cosplayer and the Photographer.
